Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

Different Gravy is operated by Decade10 Limited, a UK product studio ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at hello@rhocholdings.com.

Decade10 Limited is registered in England and Wales, company number 10535114. Registered office: 15 Cae Garw, Llantwit Fardre, Pontypridd, Wales, CF38 2TQ.

These terms govern your use of the Different Gravy application and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

2. What the Service does

Different Gravy helps grassroots football coaches and clubs organise matchday activity: managing squads and players, creating fixtures, selecting matchday squads, building lineups and formations, recording appearances, goals, assists and ratings, and sharing read-only squad information. Coaches can also collect match and training availability from parents or guardians through private player links, record training attendance, and ask the in-app Help assistant, which uses AI and can make mistakes.

3. Accounts and organisations

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

The person who creates an organisation is its owner and is responsible for managing members, roles and invitations. Invitations are personal to the invited email address and may expire.

4. Pro subscriptions

Some features need Pro. On our website, payments for Pro are processed by Stripe, which also handles sales tax and VAT on the transaction, so Stripe's checkout terms also apply to your purchase. Your bank statement may show LINK.COM alongside our name. The price and billing period are shown before you pay.

Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. We will tell you before any price change applies to your next renewal.

You can cancel at any time from Manage billing in Team settings, through the link in your receipt emails, or by emailing hello@rhocholdings.com. Pro then continues until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. Deleting your account cancels any Pro subscription straight away, with no further charges.

We may give Pro free of charge, for example to testers, and may end that with reasonable notice.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right to cancel and receive a refund.

5. Player data and children

The Service is designed for teams that may include children and young people. The organisation using the Service is the data controller for team, player, parent-response and match data. It is responsible for ensuring it has authority and an appropriate lawful basis to record and use that information, giving children and parents suitable privacy information, handling their rights, and keeping the data accurate, relevant and no more extensive than necessary.

Do not record sensitive personal information about players beyond what the Service is designed for (names, squad numbers, positions, availability and match statistics). Photographs of players are optional and uploaded at your discretion and responsibility.

6. Data processing terms

This section forms the data processing agreement between your organisation as controller and Decade10 Limited as processor under Article 28 UK GDPR. It applies while we provide the Service and process team, player, parent-response and match data on your behalf. The people concerned are players (including children), parents or guardians, coaches and club officials. The data and processing are those described in the Privacy Policy and are used to host, secure, organise, display, share on your instruction, back up and support the Service.

As processor, we will:

  • process that data only on your documented instructions, including instructions given through authorised use of the Service, unless UK law requires otherwise;
  • ensure people authorised to process it are bound by confidentiality;
  • maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures proportionate to the risk, including access controls, tenant isolation and encryption in transit;
  • engage subprocessors only under written data-protection terms and remain responsible for their work, with appropriate safeguards for transfers outside the UK;
  • taking account of the nature of the processing, reasonably assist you with rights requests, security, breach response, impact assessments and regulator consultations;
  • notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting data processed for you;
  • at the end of the Service, delete or return your data at your choice, unless law requires retention; and
  • provide information reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and allow reasonable audits, subject to confidentiality, security and proportionate notice requirements.

We will tell you if, in our reasonable view, an instruction infringes data protection law. By using the Service, you give general authorisation for the subprocessors needed to operate it. We will give reasonable notice of a material new subprocessor where practical, so you may object on reasonable data-protection grounds.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive.
  • Attempt to access another organisation's data without permission.
  • Interfere with or probe the security of the Service.
  • Upload content that infringes the rights of others.
  • Share squad links publicly in a way that would reasonably be expected to cause harm or embarrassment to any player.

8. Shared squad links

You may generate read-only links to share a matchday squad. These links can be viewed by anyone who has them until you revoke them or they expire. You are responsible for who you share them with. Shared pages never include internal notes or player statistics. Youth-team links use privacy-friendly name and location defaults which coaches remain responsible for reviewing.

9. Availability and changes

Parent availability links are private to the named player. You are responsible for sending each link only to an appropriate parent or guardian and disabling it if it is shared with the wrong person. Responses help coaches plan but remain subject to the coach’s final team decision.

We aim to keep the Service available and improving, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change or withdraw features with reasonable notice where practical. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if you have paid nothing).

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Team settings, under Account. This permanently deletes your sign-in and personal details and cancels any Pro subscription with no further charges. A club where you are the only member is deleted with its data; clubs with other coaches are kept, and ownership passes to another coach. You can also ask us to delete your account or your organisation's data by emailing hello@rhocholdings.com. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
